Newsprint paper was chosen for the monthly pages to reinforce the familiar feel of word search games, while textured linen paper was selected for the cover to add a distinctive tactile quality. The cover and interior pages were bound together with red Scotch tape, creating a simple yet bold finishing detail that ties the design together.
